The Best Tools For Keyword Research
What really counts for success online are as high in the search results pages will be displayed. Finding what is competitive on a particular keyword has become essential for those who want to gain visibility on these pages.
The Web marketing is all about search engine positioning and optimization of keywords is a strong marketing strategy that allows online publishers that their post, or other targeted content can be found by thousands of players online.
The rule is very simple: You need to find low competition keywords that a potential customer might use to search for a particular topic. Sure, you can choose key terms in these highly competitive, but in my experience it is difficult to keep your article in the first search results of Google for a long time.
If you want that many Internet users will find the pages of your content and make these pages visible on search engines, you must add the keywords in the titles and general content.
Do not use too many keywords, but first answer this question: What do people think when they want to find a specific topic in the search engines?
When you write a new blog post, the first thing you need to do is choose a good title that could be useful to search engines to find your topic, product or service.
For example, imagine you are writing an article on how to increase traffic to a website. First, think about a possible combination of key phrases that people might use to find this topic. For example, a regular user of Google may have in mind, and then type one of the following three titles:
- How to increase traffic on a site?
- The best ways to grow traffic to a website.
- Strategies for increasing traffic to a site on-line.
These three sentences are good examples of possible titles for your article. Each of these three sentences includes a combination of keywords:
- Increase traffic website
- Grow, traffic, website
- Growth, traffic, website
For example, if you choose the third combination of keywords, growth, traffic, website (include the quotation marks so ‘you will find sites that include these three key words in the title), you could do a quick search on Google to see what are the top ten blogs that use it to see if there is too much competition, and take inspiration from these to find your ideal title.
Remember, that if the competition for those search terms is high, it takes too long to get to high positions in search results. Instead, choose words with a decent amount of traffic and little competition.
To find out that is using those keywords in the title and in links pointing to that page with this particular anchor text, type in the search box, allinanchor: “Search Engine Optimization Ranking.” Of course, replace “Search Engine Optimization Ranking” with your keyword.
At this point you need to find additional keywords for your content. Within the content you need to add more ‘keywords hoping that they will be well placed by Google.
Start with a tool. It will show you what people are really looking for. These keywords must be included in your article, in the outbound links, and tags (H1 tags are usually the most ‘important of the H2, H3, H4 tags).
The keyword in the meta tags seem to be less important today, but many still use them to optimize their content to search engines. I recommend you do not overdo it with the density of keywords you enter, a good 20% is the value recommended by experts in SEO.
